SHERIDAN -- At her request, no services are planned for Sheridan resident Mary V. Johnson, 89, who died July 1, 2005, at Westview Health Care Center.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Kane Funeral Home of Sheridan.

Born July 22, 1915, in Burlington, Iowa, she was the daughter of Dolly (Tennant) and Guy Hill.

On Feb. 24, 1945, she married Hansel "Johnny" Johnson in Billings, Mont. He preceded her in death.

She enjoyed working in her yard and garden and having barbecues and family gatherings.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis Johnson of Sheridan and John Johnson and his wife of Billings; and brother, Guy Hill Jr. of Sheridan.
