Anton (Tony) Ballek died in Salem, Ore, Sat. Nov 22, 2008. He was 90 years old.

He was born in Sheridan, Wyo. Feb 24, 1918.

He left Sheridan in 1936 to live in New York. In 1949 he returned to live in Sheridan, but returned back to New York in 1953. In 1956 he was transferred by IBM to San Jose, Ca.

He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1936.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mary: son Anton Paul Ballek, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren: a sister, Agnes Ballek Songer and brother Frank Ballek of Sheridan: brothers Joseph, Downey, Ca, and James, San Jose, Ca.

He was preceeded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth (Betty) Shipman and a brother John Ballek.

Services were held in Salem, Ore on Sat. Nov 29th, 2008.
