OBITUARTIES - THE SHERIDAN PRESS - January 30, 2001

Angelo F. "Rody" Rotellini, 87, of Sheridan died Jan. 28, 2001, at Westview Health Care Center.

A Rosary service is 7 p.m. today at Kane Funeral Home.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Name Catholic Church with Monsignor Eugene Sullivan and the Rev. Ron Stolcis as celebrants.  Interment will be in the Elks Cemetery.

Mr. Rotellini was born Sept. 29, 1913, at Paganica, Italy, to Frank and Paudilia (Farella) Rotellini.  He attended Holy Name School and graduated from Sheridan High School.  He was an All-State basketball player for SHS in 1934-35.

He married Rose Bitters May 10, 1941, in Hardin, Mont.  The couple lived most of their lives in Sheridan where Mr. Rotellini was employed by the Coca-Cola Bottling Company and WY-Mont Beverages.  Following retirement from the beverage industry, he worked for Sugarland Development.

He loved music and played alto saxophone with the Harmony Kings Dance Band for more than 30 years.  He enjoyed bowling, golfing, attending Sheridan athletic events and spending time with his family.  He was a member of the Elks Lodge #520, Eagles Lodge #186, Knights of Columbus Council #2104, Sheridan Quarterback Club and Holy Name Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, August; sister Adelgesa; and daughter, Karen Lee Green.

Survivors include his wife, Rose, son Frank and brothers Ernest and Sam, all of Sheridan; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
