At her request, cremation has taken place, and a private family memorial service will be later. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.

Mrs. Eckerman was born Dec. 31, 1917, in Miles City, Mont., to Frank and Lulu Belle (Miller) Kelsey. She grew up and attended school in Powder River County, Mont. She graduated from Sheridan High School. After high school, she married.

She was later divorced. She spent most of her adult life in Wyoming.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
