SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Alex James Favero worked for Montana Dakota Utilities for 26 years. A sports enthusiast, he was a member of Eagles Lodge and enjoyed ranching activities.

A World War II veteran, he served in the Air Force as mechanic with 14th Bomber Wing stationed in England and Africa and was awarded the Bronze Star.

Mr. Favero, 69, died Sunday in Sheridan Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

Born in Pittsburg, Pa., a son of Bart and Theresa Fermanto Favero, he graduated from Sheridan High SchooL

He married Rose T. Podgornik June 1, 1947, in Sheridan.

Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Madelene Mathews and Theresa "Terry" Spomer, both of Sheridan; two brothers, Ben of Sheridan and Mario of Palo Alto, Calif.

Wake services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Champion Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 9: 30 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Name Catholic Church with burial in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
