Lois (Collins) Strand, 84, of Sheridan passed away Sunday, June 15, 2003, at Sheridan Manor of natural causes.

Lois was born September 27, 1918, in Sheridan to Gwyn and Bessie Collins.  She attended elementary schools in Arvada, Wyo., and graduated from Sheridan High School.

She lived most of her life in the Sheridan area and before retirement was a Bookkeeper for Burgess, Davis law firm and Brittain Travel.

She belonged to a number of organizations, enjoyed traveling, researching the old West, being with animals, and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include son , Dale of Seattle, WA,, daughter-in-law, Averil Strand and granddaughters, Lisa and Marci of Fort Collins, CO.

Lois was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother Gwyn Collins, and son Gwyn Strand.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, at the Wesleyan Church, 404 W Brundage Ln. with the Rev. Chuck Lucas, Pastor officiating.
