Dudley Vincent BROWNE 1916 - 2013 SHS 1935

Dud died October 23, 2013 at his home in Quintin, Texas with members of his family by his side.

He was born in Minneapolis, MN on August 21, 1916 to Edward and Hazel Browne. The family moved to Sheridan when Dud was in high school. He was active in sports and played both baseball and hockey as a young man.

He worked for several as a salesman and Ryan-Sheridan, a grocery supply business. Later he became Deputy Labor Commissioner for the state of Wyoming.

Following the death of his first wife, Ester (Tillie) Parker, he married Phyllis Thomas. They have lived in Austin, Texas area for the last several yeas.

Dud was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Loraine, and two brothers, Ed and Jack.

He is survived by his wife, a sister Rill Cessnun, four children, numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Private services will be held by the family at a later date in Austin.
