ROCK SPRINGS -- Funeral services for Jessie Dale Reinhart, 89, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church, Rock Springs. Interment will take place in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Fox Funeral Home and Thursday one hour prior to the services at the church.

She died April 15, 2007, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born March 26, 1918 in a rural home in Sheridan County, the daughter of Bertram Brooks and Florence Mumma.

She married Charles Clark Reinhart on Oct. 30, 1938 in Buffalo and he preceded her in death on June 21, 1984.

She attended Dry Creek School and graduated from Sheridan High School. She also attended the University of Wyoming.

She was a teacher in a one-room schoolhouse in Sheridan County. She also had been employed as a bookkeeper.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rock Springs. She participated in many church organizations her entire life, including Sunday School teacher, United Methodist women’s organization, editor of church newsletter, church recording secretary. She supported the missionary program.

She was also a 4-H and Cub Scout leader, Home Makers Club and Campfire Girl’s leader.

Her interests include gardening, sewing, baking and cooking, genealogy, coin and stamp collecting, record keeping, and spending time with her family and her devotion to her faith.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Charles B. Reinhart and William K. Reinhart, all of Rock Springs; four daughters and their husbands, Peggy J. Patterson of Hoodsport, Wash., Patricia K. Green of Layton, Utah, Dr. Cheryl L. Rivard of Danville, Ky., and Carolyn R. Killefer of Mahomet, Ill.; 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren; several cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Bertram and Florence Brooks, two daughters, Joan E. McDonald and Jacqueline Sue Reinhart, twin sister, Martha Kovach, brother, Bertram A. Brooks Jr, infant brother Jonathan Brooks, and a granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Gideon International, P.O. Box 1088, Green River, WY 82935 or Lindsey Reinhart Memorial Scholarship Fund, University of Wyoming Foundation, 1200 E. Ivinson Ave., Laramie, WY 82071.
