Ruth L. Walker, 64, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 1979, at Sheridan County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Walker was born Nov. 9, 1915, in Sheridan, married Harvey Walker, Oct. 12, 1934, in Big Horn, and was a nurse's aide at Memorial Hospital for 20 years.

She was a member of the Woman's Society of Christian Service and the First Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Harvey; two sons and a daughter; Barry Walker, Buffalo; James Walker, Apple Valley, Calif.; and Dixie Foster, Anchorage, Alaska; a brother and two sisters; Wesley Spracklen, California; Polly Spracklen and Crystal Rinker, both of Sheridan; and eight grandchildren.

Services are at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Champion Funeral Home and burial will be in Big Horn. The Rev. Allen Adams will officiate.
