Mary Kobielusz Alderson, 91, of Sheridan died July 22, 2008, at Sheridan Manor.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Champion Ferries Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Stolcis officiating. Interment will be at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Born Aug. 12, 1916, on Dutch Creek to John and Anna Kobielusz, she worked at Bones Bros. Dude Ranch at Birney, Mont., where she supervised cooking, dining, and cabin crews.

She married Allen “Big Bones” Alderson on Aug. 8, 1969.

They lived in Sheridan and enjoyed entertaining and card parties.

She is survived by a sister, Anna Varcalli of Sheridan; and stepdaughters Dorothy Tarter of Ashland, Mont., and Alice MacCarty of Story.

Memorials may benefit Holy Name School Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
