OBITUARIES - CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE - November 28, 2001

SHERIDAN - Mass of Christian Burial for Sheridan resident Leota O'Dell, 85, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name Catholic Church by Monsignor Eugene Sullivan.  Interment will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Kane Funeral Home.

She died Nov. 25, 2001, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

She was born April 19, 1916, in Newcastle, the daughter of Michael and Mary (McCoy) Cusick.  She attended Holy Name Catholic School in Sheridan, St. Agnes Academy in Alliance, Neb. And Sheridan High School.

On June 25, 1935, she married William B. O'Dell at St. Patrick's Church in Billings, Mont.

She enjoyed the outdoors, flower gardening, playing bridge and church activities.  She was a member of U.T.U. Auxiliary and Holy Name Holy Name Council of Catholic Women.

Survivors include five sons, Thomas W. O'Dell of Sheridan, Mike O'Dell and his wife of Littleton, Colo., John M. O'Dell and Pat O'Dell and their wives, both of Sheridan, and Ed O'Dell and his wife of Torrington; 18 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter-in-law and a great-grandson.
