Beatrice “Tress” Mclean, 95, of Sheridan died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, in Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Douglas Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.

Born March 26, 1914, in York, Neb., to Ralph and Goldie (Elarth) Trussell, she moved with her family to Sheridan, where it opened a bakery.

She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1933 and received her teaching certificate at the University of Montana.

She taught school in Big Horn County, Mont., for several years.

She later moved to California, where she married cattle rancher Robert Moller. They moved their registered Hereford cattle to a ranch near Big Horn.

She enjoyed being a ranch homemaker and cook before her husband’s death in 1983.

She then moved to her North Heights home in Sheridan.

She was later reunited with an old friend, Kenneth Mclean. The couple were married in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, in 1985. Mr. Mclean died in 2000.

Mrs. Mclean was a member of First Christian Church in Sheridan.

She enjoyed reading, lunching with friends and family, and her cat, Queenie.

In addition to her husbands, Mrs. Mclean was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Lomax.

Survivors include one brother, Bud Trussell of Boise, Idaho; one stepson; two stepdaughters; a nephew and a niece; and a great-nephew and great-niece. Memorials may benefit First Christian Church, 102 S. Connor St., Sheridan, WY 82801.
