Mary Elizabeth Tyson, 97 of Vine Grove, KY, formerly of Sheridan, WY, died Saturday, June 8, 2013 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Margaret Heiman; her husband, Ray Tyson; her son, Louis Raymond Tyson; a grandson, Mark Sipes; a granddaughter, Bridget Ann Tyson; a brother, Bob Heiman and a sister, Lois Burgess.

She is survived by her two sons, Geoffrey and Doll Tyson of Sherrills Ford, NC and Mark and Janet Tyson of Chattanooga, TN; a daughter, Ann and Joe Sipes of Flaherty, KY; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren The funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 11, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Vine Grove with Rev. Daniel Lincoln officiating. Burial will be in the St. Brigid Catholic Cemetery in Vine Grove.

Visitation will be on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with prayers beginning at 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Vine Grove
