Eleanor L. Kilpatrick, 93, Sheridan, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, at Westview Health Care Center.

Rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Thursday at Kane Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Name Catholic Church with the Rev. Ron Stolcis officiating. Interment will follow in Sheridan Elks Cemetery.

Born Oct. 21, 1914, in Kooi to Thomas and Edna Hustwaite McCoy, she attended grade school at Kleenburn until the fourth grade, transferred to Sheridan, and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1932.

She married Glade Harold Kilpatrick in Hardin, Mont., on Feb. 18, 1933, and worked 30 years at the Veterans Administration hospital, retiring in 1972.

She was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church Altar and Rosary Society, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and the Elks Lodge.

She enjoyed hiking in the mountains, family get-togethers, travel, crafts and ballgames.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister, Vivian.

She is survived by two sons, Gerald G. Kilpatrick of Sedona, Ariz., and Dr. Richard L. Kilpatrick of Sheridan; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
