Doris Olivia (Bilyeu) Cook went to be with her Savior Tuesday evening, January 31. 2006.

Doris was born on November 28, 1914 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Charles Wesley and Ida Oretta Mae Bilyeu. She was the second youngest of 13 children, all of whom have preceded her in death.

She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1932. Doris married Norman E. Cook on June 15, 1936.

She and her husband were involved in Christian ministry for over 50 years in the Sheridan area, specifically at Grace Chapel in Story, Wyoming. While living in Sheridan, she owned and operated the Sheridan Bible Book Store for over 14 years. After the death of her husband in 1991, she continued to live in Sheridan until 1995 when she moved to Kennewick, Washington to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren. She continued to live in Kennewick until her death.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Norman E. Cook as well as her brothers and sisters.

Doris is survived by her daughters, Sharon Bellanti (Joe) of Kennewick, Washington and Sylvia Totton (Larry) of Spokane, Washington; four grandchildren, Christy LaBouve (Kent) of Glenallen, Alaska, Scott Totton(Tessa) of Spokane, Washington; Kari Almquist (Mark) of Kennewick, Washington; and Shelli Totton of Spokane, Washington. In addition, she enjoyed 14 great grandchildren.

She was a faithful believer and follower of Jesus Christ as well as a faithful and loving wife, mother and grandmother all her life. She loved her daughters, dearly. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joy of her life.

Memorial services are planned for Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Grace Chapel in Story, Wyoming.
