Ruth L. Jensen, 88, of 1330 Prairie Ave., Cheyenne, Wyoming, died April 13, 2001.

She was born Ruth L. Harnley on March 23, 1913, in Gillette, Wyoming.

She married Kirk F. Jensen in Cheyenne on August 30, 1947.

She graduated from Sheridan High School and Laramie County Community College.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, PEO Chapter S, Mizpah Chapter Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Prairie Schooner Mariners, Laramie County Republican Women's Club and Cheyenne Community Concerts.

She is survived by her son, Robert Jensen, his wife Jill and their daughter, Jessica. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Alberta Harnley of Dallas, Texas and her brother-in-law William G. Jensen of Casper, Wyoming.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kirk F. Jensen, and brother, Robert Harnley.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert Walkley and the Rev. Robert Gerrard officiating.
