OBITUARIES - CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE - June 12 2005

SHERIDAN -- Funeral services for Ada M. Huggins, 91, will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, in the chapel of Kane Funeral Home with Paddy Bard officiating. Interment will follow in Quiet Rest Cemetery.

She died June 9, 2005.

Born July 23, 1913, in Dietz # 7, she was the daughter of Patrick and Christina (Hotchkiss) Chesney. She was raised and educated in the Sheridan area, graduating from Sheridan High School.

On Sept. 10, 1938, at the TAT Ranch in Banner, she married Wilbur Huggins. Twin daughters were born to their union, Mary and Sally. In her leisure, she enjoyed playing bridge, going on picnics and reading. She was a member of the Story Women's Club and the Bridge Club.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Peterson and her husband, and Sally Johnson, all of Story; two grandchildren, Jennifer Deskins and Heather Johnson; a great-grandson and her sister, Mary Ellen Goodman of Sheridan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers and five sisters.
