Former Sheridan resident Millie Foley, 91, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, in San Jose, Calif.

Private services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home in Hollister, Calif., with the Rev. John Amelio of Glad Tidings Church officiating.

Interment will be in the San Juan District Cemetery in San Juan Bautista.

Mrs. Foley was born Oct. 13, 1910, in Nebraska to Albert and Elsie Young.

The family came to Sheridan when she was a child, and she grew up and was educated here.

She had lived in San Jose since 1949 except for 12 years in San Juan Bautista in the 1980s.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Fern Michaels.

Survivors include her children, Patricia Griffin of Oregon, Donald of Scotts Valley, Calif., David of Aromas, Calif., and Charles of Discovery Bay, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
