BOZEMAN - Wanda E. Walker’s life was devoted to the art of homemaking and her family.

Mrs. Walker, 85, died Monday in Bozeman Deaconess Hospital of natural causes.

She was born in Tabor, Iowa, a daughter of Alfred and Wenonah Ballard Andrews. She was educated in Atlantic, Iowa, before moving to Sheridan, Wyo., in 1915 where she graduated from Sheridan High School.

On Dec. 16, 1922, she married Samuel E. Walker in Council Bluffs, Iowa; he died in 1965.

Survivors include a son, Bill of Helena; a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Shirley) Clark of Bozeman, a brother, O. W. Andrews of Spokane, Wash.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Sunset Hills Cemetery in Bozeman.
