TJ Charles O’BRIEN 1990 - 2015 SHS 2009

Funeral services for TJ Charles O'Brien, 24 year old Gillette man who passed away Wednesday morning in Buffalo, will be held Tuesday, March 10th at 2:00 p.m. from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Pastor William Dunlap officiating. Visitation will be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette with a graveside service that will be announced later.

Donations in TJ's memory may be made to the Johnson County Suicide Prevention Coalition in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.

T.J. Charles O'Brien was born on December 6, 1990 in Port Angeles, Washington to Kelly Fox. He moved to Gillette, Wyoming as an infant where he started elementary school. He moved to Sheridan where he continued school and graduated from Sheridan High School with the class of 2009.

After high school he went to work for Papa Murphy's Pizza and worked at various jobs in Sheridan. In the Fall of 2012 he attended Sheridan College where he studied anthropology. Most recently he had been working in the oil fields near Gillette.

TJ enjoyed playing the guitar. He had a very artistic mind and loved photography. His dream was to become video game animator. He was a very loving older brother who doted on his little sisters. He was a loyal friend who had a great sense of humor. His best friend in life was his mother.

He is survived by his parents, John and Kelly Hansen of Buffalo; two sisters Kimberly and Nichole Hansen of Buffalo; his maternal grandfather Larry Fox of Port Angeles, Washington; paternal grandmother Faye Hansen of Pinesdale, Montana; maternal great-grandmother Louise Hickey of Gillette and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Barbara Fox.
