OBITUARIES - THE SHERIDAN PRESS - July 5 2004 Kaleigh Rose Ford, 18, of Sheridan was killed Friday, July 2, 2004, in a shooting incident on Big Horn Avenue.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Sheridan High School Auditorium with the Rev. Doug Melius officiating. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.

Miss Ford was born March 29, 1986, in Cheyenne to Matthew and Sandra Ford. The family moved to Sheridan in 1992. Miss Ford was a graduate of Sheridan High School.

During her school years, she played basketball, was in the band and enjoyed photography, snowboarding and softball.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and participated in several church youth groups.

She was planning to attend Sheridan College to pursue a degree in psychology.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Sandy Litle and Robert Miller of Sheridan; her father of Salem, Ore.; a brother, Kerek Ford of Sheridan; four grandparents, Jim and Margaret Litle of Sheridan and Leonel and Alice Ford of Pampa, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
