Sabrina Jo Anderson “Brina” 25, of Livingston and formerly of Billings and Sheridan died at her home Thursday, March 3rd, 2011.

Sabrina was born March 5th, 1985 in Gillette, WY. At 5 months old Sabrina moved to Billings with her mom and 2 1/2 yr old brother Matthew. Sabrina attended Kindergarten at Orchard Elementary. Mrs. McCulloh was both her and her brother’s first teacher experience. Having had the ultimate positive teacher experience, she aspired to grow up to teach. Sabrina loved to swim being fearless around water she took swimming lessons at the YMCA. Summers were spent at Lake Elmo with mom and brother. Sabrina's bright beautiful blue eyes and dimples were the source of much admiration, delighting everyone when she announced to a new friend "look I have pimples".

Sabrina's first animal rescue came at 3 yrs old. She brought a beautiful long hair white cat with bright blue eyes like hers in the house, half frozen and starved. Sabrina put the cat in momma's waterbed to get warm and announced "your name is Whiskers". Grandma adopted Whiskers for her as we were unable to have pets at apt. After sternly being asked not to teach his sister how to ride a bike quite yet; her brother Matt ran in all excited and told me to come see he had a surprise. Sabrina was riding her brother’s bike with no training wheels and she was barely 5 yrs old. Sabrina also loved to roller skate at Skateland in Blgs, the same place her mother roller skated as a child.

Sabrina attended church camp every summer at Camp Miminagish making many lifelong friends. Spencer Morris said it best, “She was always a bright light everywhere she went and her light still shines.” At age 15 Sabrina moved to Sheridan. Sabrina loved to go to the lake and ride the tube behind Papa Mikes boat. She was a regular at the animal shelter and always had her share. Brina always had time for her friends whether 2, 3 or 4 legged, human or animal.

Sabrina graduated from Sheridan High School in 2003. Sabrina earned a full scholarship from the Daniels Fund competing for an entire year with 60 other hopefuls. She attended Sheridan College for 2 yrs and Black Hills State College in Spearfish for a year. She worked for Renew in Sheridan at the group homes. In Spearfish, Sabrina worked in a private group home for elderly people. Sabrina was a caretaker. Gentle, kind and loving to each and every one of her clients. Brina always took time to do little extra special things to brighten someone’s day.

Sabrina attended First Congregational Church in Sheridan.
