OBITUARIES - CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE - April 16, 2003

SHERIDAN - Memorial services for Sheridan resident Cody Allen Warnke, 19, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 17, in the Sheridan College Golden Dome by the Rev. Kenneth Doolin.

He died April 13, 2003, in Sheridan.

Born June 24, 1983, in Sheridan, he was the son of Randy and Tammy (Harper) Warnke; was raised and educated there; and graduated from Sheridan High School, where he was a wrestler and avid sports fan.

After graduation, he worked at KWN Construction and was in the apprentice carpenter program.

He enjoyed his work, motorcycles, camping, and being in the Big Horn Mountains.

Survivors in Sheridan include his father and stepmother, Randy and Bessie Warnke; mother; brother, Kyle Warnke; sister, Stephanie Warnke; grandparents, Tom and Alice Warnke and Dorothy Harper; and great-grandmother, Helen Warnke.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Earl Harper.

Memorials may benefit the Cody Warnke Memorial Scholarship for the Big Horn Homebuilders Carpentry Apprenticeship Program, in care of Delphine Toner, First Interstate Bank, Box 2007, Sheridan 82801.
