SHERIDAN - Private family services for Sheridan resident Stephanie Lynn Vilhauer, 20, will be held at a later date.

She died Nov. 17, 2003, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

Born June 7, 1983, in Sheridan, she was the daughter of Del and Kathy (Leupold) Vilhauer. The family moved to Arizona in 1985, then Colorado in 1989. In 2000, they returned to Sheridan and she graduated from Sheridan High School in 2001.

She then attended Sheridan College for a year.

A veterinary assistant for Sheridan Animal Medical Center in Sheridan, she loved animals, fishing, horseback-riding, and photography.

Survivors include her parents and two brothers, Kyle and Justin Vilhauer, all of Sheridan; maternal grandmother, Jan Leupold of Tulsa, Okla.; maternal grandfather, George Leupold Sr. of St. George, Utah; paternal grandparents, Darwin and Helen Vilhauer of Strang, Neb.; great-grandmothers, Nettie S. Jackman of Tulsa and Elva Knudson of Irene, S.D.; two uncles; and a cousin.

Champion-Ferries Funeral Home of Sheridan is in charge of arrangements.
